Gloucester
Downs Equestrian Park is a full service Boarding
facility with many additional features for the concerned and conscientious
horse owner. This facility offers privacy and individual training to the
dedicated amateur rider. If you want to get away from the bustle of the
regular riding center , come and view our grass trails, wooded walks, training
hills and one of a kind International Style training center. Located in
Aldergrove, a suburb of Vancouver, Gloucester Downs is within 15 mins of
Abbotsford Airport and one and a half hours from Vancouver International
Airport.
There are:
33 stalls, 20 stalls for boarders, 21 large turnout paddocks on all weather
footing, 9 grass paddocks and fields for group and individual turnout
in season. The stalls all have a view for the horses to see each other,
dutch doors, auto waterers and new rubber mats.
The feeding
program is designed with the horse in mind and includes hay 4-5 times
per day (or grass) and grain twice a day. Owner/manager lives on the property
and the last stall check is 10-11pm. Worming program every 2 months, regular
immunity and West Nile shots managed by the facility. Pregnant mare and
stallion programs available.

Gloucester
has three rings for riding, two very large outdoor rings one with wood
footing and sand over clay base, and the other an advanced sand footing
over crusher dust and clay with deep draintile, both have their own sets
of jumps. The Indoor Arena is ideal for individual lessons, bright well
lit, with its own set of jumps and excellent footing.
The Outdoor
Grass Course is the most advanced in the area for training the Showjumper
for the Derby courses at the larger Shows. It includes:
