Emma
was bred to teach my nieces and nephews to ride... none of them
have taken up riding and so she was only shown four times in her
life, as I had other competition horses. She showed up to 4'3"
and has always come home with ribbons. She is good with beginners,
but does not want to be stuck as a beginner's horse. SHE LOVES TO
JUMP! If not allowed to jump she becomes cranky and unhappy to be
ridden. The rider must be correct in position, not stiffen up or
hold on to the mouth. I taught her to not jump if the rider felt
insecure.
She
is a fabulous Medal horse, great knees, form and changes for the
Hunter ring and very competitive on time and turns in the jumper
ring. If you can think the turn, she can do it. Look, open the rein,
don't pull, stay balanced and she will amaze you.
